Mission Statement:

To improve the quality and duration of life for those suffering from sleep breathing disorders, through the inculcation of dental practitioners; to aid in improving the avenues of communication between dentists and their patients regarding the life-altering effects of obstructive sleep apnea; and to harvest for the dental marketplace a continual flow of patients searching for a drug-free solution to their sleep related breathing malady.

Objectives of the Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea:

  • To proclaim and promote the dentist as a valuable resource for patients suffering from sleep breathing disorders
  • To set forth and continually improve an appropriate dental protocol for treating sleep breathing disorders
  • To educate the population regarding signs and symptoms of these disorders
  • To establish and incubate a relationship between dental appliance manufacturers and member dental offices
  • To aid in the creation and improvement of equipment designed to help clinicians in their treatment protocol
  • To provide a free flow of communication between dentists interested in treating sleep breathing disorders
